Saint Paul, MN
This green remodeling of the kitchen in a mid-century modern 1960’s era home in the Highland Park neighborhood of Saint Paul creates a fresh and healthy place to cook and entertain.
After 35 years, the existing kitchen seemed a bit tired.
It worked, but inefficiently used space, and the finishes and cabinets all showed the effects of cramped space and hard use over time.
The imaginative design re-organizes other kitchen space into separate work and entertaining areas and provides better better circulation to and from other areas of the house, The work flow within the kitchen is optimized for the couple that loves to cook and chat with family and friends.
The new kitchen is as beautiful as it is functional with top of the line finishes, materials and lighting. Everything fits.
The project includes Green Features such as:
• Improved insulation at roof
• Quartz countertops
• Sub-Zero refrigerator and Wolf Appliances
• LED lighting
• Low Flow plumbing fixtures
• Low VOC paints, coatings and adhesives
• NAUF Wood,and Materials
