EcoDEEP provided sustainability planning, review, research and LEED documentation planning and management services for the project. 

 

The project achieved LEED Silver Certification. 

 

The 123,000sf building on two levels does not use potable water for irrigation, reduced the building's potable water use for flush and flow fixtures by 22% through the use of low-flow fixtures, reduced energy use by 27%, over 50% of its materials and products were manufactured within 500 miles of the project site, and all interior paints, sealants, adhesives, flooring and agrifiber products are low voc content materials.

EcoDEEP provided sustainability planning, review, research and LEED documentation planning and management services for the project. 

 

The project achieved LEED Gold Certification. 

 

The 3,300sf educational building and sleeping cabin does not use potable water for irrigation, reduced the building's potable water use for flush and flow fixtures by 30% through the use of low-flow fixtures and showers, reduced energy use by 42%, produces 7% of its energy needs on-site through the use of roof mounted solar domestic hot water panels and procures 100% of all purchased energy through grid based renewable wind energy.

 

The project diverted 69% of its construction waste from landfills to be recycled, over 50% of its wood products were sustainably harvested and FSC certified and and all interior paints, sealants, adhesives, flooring and agrifiber products are low voc content materials.
